HISTORY

The study commenced in 2015 through a collaboration between researchers from Australia and Germany who were jointly interested in investigating children’s understandings of well-being using qualitative methods.

A network of researchers across the globe are now involved in the study who act as hubs to undertake qualitative fieldwork within their country. The project currently includes research teams from Africa (Algeria and South Africa), Asia (Kyrgyzstan, India, Nepal and Pakistan), Australia, Europe (England, Estonia, Germany, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Spain and Turkey), the Middle East (Israel), North America (Canada and the United States) and South America (Argentina and Chile).
Teams from other parts of the world are also welcome.

You can find out more information about the participating countries and researchers at the Researchers page.
