PRINCIPLES OF THE STUDY METHODOLOGY
The study involves two intersecting analytical dimensions – a child-centred dimension and a nation-centred dimension.
The meaning of well-being is interrogated by determining how children understand and experience well-being and related dimensions within their everyday contexts.
Relatedly, the study attempts to provide insights as to whether different aspects or dimensions of well-being are identified by children from different national contexts, and if so whether such aspects or dimensions are experienced in a similar or different way and what influence local or national and other social or cultural contexts play in these understandings and experiences.
